Crochet Bed Doll Pattern Anne Cabot No 5990

CROCHET BED DOLL:  This pattern gives directions to crochet the doll pictured.   The sweet ruffled girl is worked in two variegated colors of Crochet Cotton.  She is designed to lay across and adorn the pillow of your bed, thus her name of bed-doll.   Her actual height is not stated. 

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Anne Cabot 5990 in 1983.   

MATERIALS:  O.N.T. "SPEED-CRO-SHEEN" MERCERIZED COTTON: 3 Balls of Aqua and 1 Ball of Mid-Rose.   CLARK'S "BIG BALL" MERCERIZED CROCHET, Size 30: 1 Ball of Canary Yellow. NEEDLE: Steel Crochet Hooks No. 00 (Double zero) and No. 10.   O.N.T. Six-strand Embroidery Floss: 1 yard each of Red, Dark Brown, Light Steel Blue and Black.   Dacron Polyester Fiberfil for stuffing; 1/2 yard of crinoline for Petticoat.
