Crochet Bedspread Medallion, Laura Wheeler 1976

Crocheted Medallion:   This crocheted medallion can either be made of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton or of No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton. When joined together the medallion form bedspreads, cloths, scarfs, and pillows.  Crochet the square at either 4-1/2 or 6-1/2 inches.   Included in the pattern are directions for fringe for bedspread and a picot edging for other articles.  

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers advertisements.  The pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 1976 in 1939.

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS: Unbleached Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton in (500 yard) skeins and a No. 8 steel crochet hook, or No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton and a No. 12 steel crochet hook.
