Crochet Bedspread Square Pattern No 6052

Crocheted Squares:  This crocheted square is to be made of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton or of No. 30 Crochet Cotton. When joined together the squares form bedspreads, cloths, scarfs, buffet and luncheon sets and pillows.   The square may measure 3 or 4-1/2 inches.  

This is a Mail Order Designs pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 6052 in 1938.   

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS: Unbleached Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton in (500 yard) skeins and a No. 8 steel crochet hook or No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton in (125 yard) balls and a No. 12 steel crochet hook. Each square requires approximately 23 yards of heavy cotton or 15 yards of fine cotton.
