Crochet Bottle Cover, Perky Poodle No 2

Crochet Perky Poodle No 2:   This pattern gives directions to crochet the bottle cover pictured.  During the 1950's, crochet bottle covers were in vogue and Coats & Clarks created several in the quite popular poodle motif.   This design is Perky Poodle No 2.   The actual height is not stated.   

Materials: COATS & CLARK'S "RED HEART" KNITTING WORSTED, 4 Ply, Art. E. 234 (4 oz. "Tangle-Proof" Pull-Out Skein): 1 skein of any color;   Aluminum or Plastic;  Crochet Hook Size F;   Three 2-1/2 -inch pieces of ribbon ; 2 round 3/8-inch buttons; 3 gold sequins ; 6-inch chain of sequins ; cotton batting ; empty toilet tissue tube; elastic thread and a large soda bottle.
