Description

 Breton Bowler : This vintage 1942 pattern contains instructions to create the hat pictured. This is quite a stately Bowler, a Jeannette Styles design from Headline Hats. Wear it plain, or dress it up with yarn ornaments - pictured above and instructions to make included - or perhaps ribbon and braid. The hat is sized for a 21 1/2 inch head. Instructions are included should you need to increase or decrease size. 

Materials: 5 ozs Germantown or Knitting Worsted;   1 yard hat wire;   Size #0 crochet hook

Gauge: 5 sts = 1 inch : 5 rows = 1 inch
