Description

Crocheted Bunny Bottle Cover:  This pattern gives directions to crochet the bottle cover pictured.    This is a beginner easy design, in Knitting Worsted with pompom feet. The bunny is designed to fit over a 12 oz bottle.  When completed, these cute bunnies also make a pretty door stops or a decorative ornament for the children's room.  

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed in The Parade Magazine (Patterns by Pauline) as No. P-268. 

MATERIALS: COATS & CLARK'S "RED HEART" KNITTING WORSTED, 4 ply, Art. E. 232 (1 oz. "Tangle-Proof" Pull-Out Skeins): 3 Skeins each of No. 1 White and No. 227 Canary Yellow (this amount will make 2 bottle covers.) Cotton for stuffing. 4 Large Sequins. Small piece of pink felt for eyes. A few yards of red and black embroidery floss for nose, mouth and whiskers. 1 yard of pink ribbon. 1/2 yard elastic thread. 12 oz. soda bottle. NEEDLE: Crochet Hook Size G.
