Description

Fringed Capelet : This pattern contains directions to crochet the capelet pictured. "Fashions popular capelet in shell stitch crochet takes on a soft look when treated to a fringe trim". The pattern features a large noticed collar that has matching frinte to the bottom of the caplet and pretty allover shells. The finished design is waist length and may be stitched in Small, Medium or Large sizes.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs. This pattern was marketed as Anne Cabot 5573 in 1983.

Materials:  RED HEART 4-Ply Knitting Worsted in color desired: 13 (14, 15) ounces. RED HEART 4-Ply Knitting Worsted in color desired for fringe;  Crochet Hook Steel No. 2 for capelet (this may seem small but it works to the necessary gauge)
