Description

Crochet Cartwheel Place Mat:   This pattern, vintage 1950's from Lily Mills Leaflet was billed as a placemat.  It consists of a primary medallion in a cartwheel design with small fill-in motifs for spacing.  The actual size of the main motif is not stated, however, I'd guess good size since 4 are representing a square mat.   These wonderful squares have so much more that mat potential - think doily, cloth, etc.  

Materials: DAISY Mercerized Crochet Cotton, Art. 65, in White, Size 20, one skein;   No. 12 Steel Crochet Hook
