Crochet Chain Loop Squares, Mail Order 7293

Crocheted Square:  This pattern contains directions for a crocheted square to be made in either fine or heavy cotton. Crochet and join the squares to forms tablecloths, scarfs, doilies or other items pieces of your choice.  Depending upon materials selected, the squares will measure 5 or 6-1/2 inches.  

This is a Mail Order Design pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  This pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7293.  "Needlework to carry wherever you go!  These pretty squares are mainly chain loops - join squares to create a variety of items large or small for your home".    The pattern was featured in Alice Brooks 1956 Design Catalog.
