Description

Treasure Collar :  This pattern contains directions to crochet the collar shown.  A pretty detachable collar, made up of 6 motifs with are strung together on a ribbon to tie around the neck .  (Of course, tied on the wrist or stitched to a purse would also be attractive).  The design is vintage 1940s from The Spool Cotton Company. 

Materials:

  • CLARK'SO.N.T. or J. & P. COATS BEST SIX CORD MERCERIZED CROCHET,size 50:  SMALL BALL: CLARK'SO.N.T.-2 balls of White, Ecru or any color. OR
  • J& P. COATS-1 ball of White or Ecru, or 2 balls of any color.
  • Milward's Steel Crochet Hook No.12. 
  • 1½ yds. of black velvet ribbon 1 inch wide.
