Crochet Crocus Flower Placemat Pattern Set

C-687 Design of the Month: This pattern contains directions to crochet the mat set pictured. The set features an attractive crocus flower, worked in five inch blocks using Mercerized Crochet Cotton. The main and fill-in blocks, when joined form placemats that measure and a runner as shown. You may, of course, create and join blocks to form any cloth of your desired size.   The motifs are 5 inches square.  Create the mats and runner in sizes of your choice.  This pattern was published as part of the Coats & Clark's Design of the Month.
