Crocheted Gloves: This pattern contains directions for crocheting the gloves pictured. The hand of these gloves is worked in 2 sections; a front and back section. The crocheting is done in long rows extending from the wrist to the fingertips: the foundation chain forming the side seam. The pieces are joined together with whip stitch worked in a contrasting color. They can be made of light weight yarn or Mercerized crochet and knitting cotton. The directions are given in 3 sizes, large, medium or small size, all included in the one pattern.

This is a Mail Order Design Pattern, purchased through newspapers and magazines. This pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 2350 in 1939.  The brief newspaper description:  "These gloves in French Zephyr are easy to crochet. Make some as gifts".
