Crochet Daisy Doily Pattern, Anne Cabot 5843

The Daisy Doily:  This pattern gives directions to crochet the doily pictured.  It is just as pretty as the intriguing "pansy" doily which my readers have liked so well - a "daisy" doily with the sweetest little one-inch daisies all around the edge. dc the twelve-inch doily in pure white. It will make a lovely centerpiece, cake-plate doily or small table lace decorative piece.

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Anne Cabot 5843 in 1946.  The newspaper description:  "As gay as the Spring are this flower trimmed doily. The daisy doily measures 12" across and has enchanting little 1" flowers around it's delicate rim. It will make a lovely summer centerpiece".   This pattern was included in the Anne Cabot 1945/46 Needlework Album.

• 1 - 400 yd. Ball White, size 30.
• Needle: Steel Crochet Hook No. 13.
