Crochet Daisy Motif Pattern, Runner Mats Doily Design 7014

Crocheted Scarfs and Mats:   This pattern contains directions for a crocheted daisy medallion made in either Straw Material or three strands of the plain Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton or of the Cotton-and-Metallic thread of the same weight. Join medallions to form mats, doilies or scarfs to be combined to form luncheon or buffet sets or to be used singly.  An individual medallion measures 3-3/4 inches.  Layout charts are included for mats, scarves and doilies; an embroidery chart for the flower center is included as well. 

This is a Mail Order Design pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  This pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7014.  The newspaper description:  "Use these dramatic daisies that grow fast in straw yarn or string. Make luncheon set, incidental runners, doilies"14.
