Crochet the petals of white and do the centers of golden yellow and you'll have the nicest set of gift potholders you've ever made. Awfully easy to make, too. Just crochet two circles for the center - hold them together and start crocheting the petals onto the circles.

Description

Crocheted Flower Potholders:   This pattern gives directions to crochet the potholders pictured.   The flower motif potholder was billed as both a Sunflower and a Daisy - your choice.  It is an easy beginner pattern in two colors knitting and crochet cotton.   It will measure approx. 6 inches in diameter.    Handsome big sunflower holders are made of various colors of crochet thread - worked out in different color combinations. A set of three of them makes a colorful, practical and very inexpensive gift. And they're very simple to make. Just crochet two separate circles for the center - hold them together and start to crochet your petals onto the center. So simple a child can crochet them.
