Crochet Dog Pattern, Easy Basset Hound

Basset Hound: This pattern gives directions for crocheting the dog pictured. This is an easy pattern, worked in seed stitch. Basset hound, 10" tall, is knitted with two strands of yarn to create the mottled effect. The body is worked in garter stitch; fringe yarn for paws; add felt features.

Materials:   Knitting worsted, 3 ozs. each of white (W) and tile (T);   Knitting needles No. 8. (Or English size 5.);   Yarn needle;   Stitch-holder;   Crochet hook;   Scraps of white, black, yellow and red felt. Cotton batting for stuffing.
