Crochet Doily Pattern, Medallion Center, Laura Wheeler 939

Crocheted Doilies: This pattern contains directions for making two crocheted doilies worked in fine cotton or string in the pineapple design. Joined medallions form center section of large doily.    There are three sizes of small and large doilies, depending upon materials selected.  The large doilies are 15, 18 or 26 inches; the small doilies are 10, 12 or 18 inches. 

This is a Mail Order Design pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  This pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 939 in 1947.   This pattern was also featured in the Laura Wheeler 1948 Designs Catalog.
