Description

Meet Polly and Dolly - The Dolly Girls: This pattern, a Coats and Clark's original Design (of the month) has instructions for two crocheted doll dresses and matching accessories. The pattern includes two outfits; both including a dress, panties, hat, shoes and a handbag. Interestingly enough, the pattern does not state the size of the doll. I am suggesting 8 inches. During this time period, most dollies were 8 or 11 inches. The picture does not seem to portray an 11 inch doll.

Materials:   J. & P. COATS "KNIT-CRO-SHEEN," Art. A. 64: 1 ball each of No. 108 Steel Blue, No. 13 Shaded Blues and No. 1 White, for Party Outfit; 1 ball each of No. 1 White and No. 126 Spanish Red for Jumper Outfit;   Milwards Steel Crochet Hook No. 7;   Snap fasteners; net ruffle 4 inches wide for petticoats; elastic thread; 1/2 yard narrow red ribbon.
