Description

Crocheted Gloves:   This pattern gives directions to crochet the gloves pictured.  The hand of these gloves is worked in two sections; a front and back section. The crocheting is done in short rows starting at wrist and working to fingertips. The sections are fastened together with a row of whip stitch embroidery worked in a contrasting color. They can be made of light weight yarn or of Crochet and Knitting Cotton. The directions are given in three sizes--large, medium or small size—all included in the one pattern.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 549 in 1943.
