Description

Crocheted Dolls : This pattern contains directions to crochet the dolls pictured. This design goes back to 1944, where it appeared in a Womans Day pamphlet. The design is for two dutch dolls - a boy and a girl. The actual size is not stated. The pamphlet description: "Fetching Dutch dolls with flaxen hair and bright blue clothes made in rug yarn".

Materials:

  • CLARK'S O.N.T. COTTON RUG YARN, 2 balls of Royal Blue and I ball of Indian Pink.
  • J. & P. COATS OR CLARK'S O.N.T. Six STRAND EMBROIDERY FLOSS, 1 skein each of Royal Blue, Lt. Cardinal and Black.
  • Steel Crochet Hook No. 0.
  • Scraps of Yellow or Brown yarn for hair.
  • Cotton batting or other material for stuffing.

GAUGE: 3 sc make 1 inch; 3 rows make 1 inch.
