Description

Good News: This pattern contains directions to crochet the hat pictured.  This is an easy pattern - vintage 1939 - mostly single crochet in Crochet Cotton. With a bit of a dutch look, it closes around the head like a turban and ties at the nape of the neck. An interesting style with a lot of potential.

Choose one of the following threads in size 10, White or Ecru: CLARK'S O.N.T. MERCERIZED CROCHET, 5 balls, J. & P. COATS MERCERIZED CROCHET, 4 balls, J. & P. COATS BIG BALL BEST SIX CORD MERCERIZED CROCHET;   2 balls.MILWARD'S steel crochet hook No. 10;   1 yd. grosgrain ribbon, ½inch wide.

GAUGE: 12 sts make 1 inch; 9 rows make 1 inch
