Crochet Fake Fur Cape Pattern, Anne Cabot 5516

Crocheted Fake Fur Cape Pattern:  This pattern gives directions to crochet the cape shown.  A fake fur cape to delight the young lady is crocheted, then fringed to give the appearance of fur. We made ours in yellow with rust, green and black border as shown; you use your favorite colors.  CAPE WILL FIT SIZES 10 to 18.  

This is a Mail Order Pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Anne Cabot 5516. The pattern was included in the Anne Cabot 1975 Needlework Catalog. 

MATERIALS: COATS & CLARK'S "RED HEART" KNITTING WORSTED, 4 Ply ("Tangle-Proof" Pull-Out Skeins): 44 ounces of Yellow; 12 ounces of Black; 8 ounces of Emerald and 8 ounces of Rust.  Crochet Hooks, Sizes G and K. Wooden Crochet Hook No. 15;   7 buttons...7/8-inch in diameter. 3 snap fasteners.
