Crochet Fascinator, Head Scarf No 1164

Lovers Knot Shawl :  This pattern contains directions to crochet the shawl pictured.  Although Coats & Clarks billed this pattern as a shawl, it may be equaly considered a fascinator, head scarf.  This design has ruffled edges and a lacy knot stitch pattern stitch.   Actual measurements are not given.  

This pattern was issued in the early 1940s from the Spool Cotton Company under Leaflet No 1164 is called Lover's Knot Shawl.  

Materials:  J&P Coats Knit-Cro-Sheen 4 balls of any color;   Steel Crochet Hook No 2/0 (double zero)
