Crochet Fern Doilies Laura Wheeler 975

Crocheted Doilies:  This pattern contains directions for two matching crocheted doilies worked in a fern design set off by medallions. They can be combined to form luncheon or buffet sets or they can be used as odd pieces. Use heavy or fine cotton.   This doily may be crocheted in three sizes each small and large.  The small doilies are 11, 13 or 18 inches and the large doilies are 16, 18 or 26 inches in diameter. 

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 975 in 1947.   This pattern was featured in the Laura Wheeler Design 1950 pattern catalog, as well as the Laura Wheeler Design 1962 catalog.  (these two catalogs were near duplicates).
