Crochet Fern Doilies Pattern, Alice Brooks 7488

Crocheted Doilies:  These two crocheted doilies worked in a fern design can either be made of No. 50 or No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton or Mercerized Crochet and Knitting cotton. They can be used as luncheon or buffet sets or as odd doilies.   Crochet easy doily in three sizes.   The small sizes are 10, 14 and 26 inches; the large sizes are 14, 18 and 28 inches in diameter.  

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7488.  This pattern was included in the Alice Brooks 1947 Designs Catalog.  The newspaper description:  "More popular every day - the Fern design crochet.You must have a lunch set done in this lacy perfection. So different, so charming. Be the envy of your friends! Have these new doilies".
