Crochet Fern Doilies Pattern, Mail Order Design 7044

Crocheted Doilies :  This pattern contains directions for two matching crocheted doilies in a fern design. Either heavy or fine cotton may be used. Doilies can be combined to form luncheon or buffet sets.  

This is a Mail Order Designs pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  This pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7044 in 1958    The pattern was included in the Alice Brooks 1959 Designs catalog as well as the Needlecraft Services 1963 Pattern Catalog.   A matching chair set pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7209.    This matched set is discussed in Fern Doilies Pattern Set Blog Post.
