Crochet Flower Doily Luncheon Set No 7120

Crocheted Doilies:  These crocheted doilies can be made either of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton or of No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton. They can be used to form luncheon and buffet sets or they can be used as odd doilies. Crochet these doilies in two sizes each small, medium and large.   The small doilies are 5 or 6-1/2 inches; the medium doilies 10 or 12 inches and the large doilies 15-1/2 or 18-1/2 inches in diameter. 

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7120 in 1944.  The newspaper description:  "It's the little things that make a home attractive. Make these doilies - they are in simple crochet - they've endless uses. So inexpensive to crochet!".  

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS: Unbleached Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton in (500 yard) skeins and a No. 9 steel crochet hook or No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton and a No. 10 steel crochet hook.
