Crochet Flower Garden Afghan Pattern

Crocheted Afghan: This pattern has instructions for crocheting the afghan pictured. Such a pretty piece crocheted in 4-ply knitting worsted. It is made up of 266 small 3-1/4 inch motifs with a small flower in the center of each square. Use colors as shown in the materials chart, or possibly a great way to use some of those scraps. The finished afghan, vintage 1952 from Spool Cotton Co, will measure 48 x 64 inches when completed.

Materials:

• CHADWICK'S RED HEART KNITTING WORSTED, 4 Ply, Art. E.232: 34 skeins (1 oz. "Tangle-Proof" Pull-Out Skeins) of No. 491 Pearl Grey; 10 skeins of No. 230 Yellow and 12 skeins of assorted colors.
• Clark's O.N.T. Plastic Crochet Hook No. 5.

GAUGE: Each motif measures 3-1/4 inches square.
