Crochet Flower Ornaments Pattern No X-33

Crocheted Flowers for Hat and Nosegay:   This pattern gives directions to crochet small flowers and leaves, which are then combined (at your choosing) into nosegay or hat ornaments.   The pattern includes rose, petals and leaves, clover and fan flower.  "Crocheted flowers will be the popular trim for the new hats. The roses, clover and fan flower are simple to create. A fine wire makes the flowers independent of any particular type of yarn. The size of the flower is determined by the thread and the hook used"  

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements.  The pattern was marketed as Ellen Bruce (Needlework Bureau) X33 in 1939.  This pattern was also released as X956.
