Crochet Flower Pillows Pattern, Pansy Rose, Anne Cabots Design 5129

Crocheted Flowers; This pattern contains directions to crochet the pillows shown. The pattern set includes two different flower motifs -- a Pansy Pillow and a Rose Pillow. Both pillows have a crocheted cover in which a 12 inch round pillow form is inserted. To this, flowers and leaves are added to create the decorative pillows. This is two separate patterns, however, nothing can't say you couldn't mix and match the flowers to make arrangements of your own.

This is a mail order pattern, typically purchased through newspapers and magazines. This particular pattern was marketed as Anne Cabot's 5129.  The newspaper description:  "Crochet this enchanting set of flower pillow tops in a jiffy. You'll find it fascinating to work these luscious rose and pansy blooms on top of a mesh base".

Materials - Pansy Pillow:   COATS & CLARK'S "RED HEART" KNITTING WORSTED, 4 Ply ("Tangle-Proof" Pull-Out Skeins); 2 ounces each of Coffee and Field Green; 1 ounce each of Mid Orange and Amethyst;   l2-inch round white Pillow form;   One yard round elastic;   Crochet Hook Size G.

Materials - Roses Pillow: COATS & CLARK'S "RED HEART" KNITTING WORSTED, 4 Ply ("Tangle-Proof" Pull-Out Skeins): 4 ounces of Emerald Green; 2 ounces of No. 990 Roses; 1 ounce each of Light Blue, Blue Jewel and Yellow;   A round pillow form -- 12 inches in diameter;   1/2 yard of round elastic;   Crochet Hook Size J.
