Description

Crocheted Striped Afghan : This pattern contains instructions to crochet the above shown afghan. Sporting stripes in four bold colors (or colors of your choice) is the predominant feature in this afghan. The afghan, approx. 46 x 64, is made in strips and then pieced together. The afghan pattern is vintage Columbia Minerva.

Materials:

  • Columbia-Minerva Knitting Worsted (4 oz skein)- 3 skeins each of Colors 2 and' 3 and 2 skeins each of Colors 1 and 4 OR Nantuk 4 ply Knitting Yarn (Knit-ting Worsted size-2 or 4 oz skein)-12 ounces each of Colors 2 and 3 and 8 ounces each of Colors 1 and 4
  • 1 "Boye" Crochet Hook "J" (Size 9)

Gauge: 3 dc to 1 inch, 2 rows to I 1/2 inches.
