Description

Pennant Afghan : This pattern contains directions to crochet the throw shown. This is a fun piece with a pattern design meant to replicate pennant flags. Make it up in your school colors and take it with you anytime a cooler night may appear. Or, adorn your childs dorm room, or any other place you may wish. The finished afghan measures 55 x 68 inches. This is a vintage 1939 pattern from Spool Cotton Company.

Materials:

  • CHADWICK'S RED HEART AFGHAN WOOL, 28 skeins (1 oz. skeins) of Antique Blue and 18 skeins of Pearl Grey.
  • MILWARD'S STEEL CROCHET HOOK No. 2/0 (double zero) .

GAUGE: 9 sts make 2 inches; 3 rows make 1 ¼ inches.
