Description

Crochet Jerry Giraffe:   This pattern gives directions to crochet the stuffed toy pictured.  A 'beginner easy' pattern, Jerry is worked in crochet cotton and stands a proud 12 inches tall.  Create him for a young child, or perhaps a friend that collects Giraffe's.  

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Anne Cabot 5565 in 1943.  The newspaper description:  Jerry Giraffe is a sort, crocheted toy which will delight the little folks. He stands 12 inches high and is done in inexpensive cotton crochet thread in a light tan color.. Do his "spots" in dark brown yarn or thread. Tie a bow around Jerry's neck and you'll have a most amusing gift for a child.  

MATERIALS REQUIRED: 2 - 80 yd. skeins beige or any color desired. 30 yds. of brown, 1 pkg. kapok for stuffing, NEEDLE: Bone crochet hook #6
