Description

Crocheted Gloves: These crocheted gloves can be made either of 3-ply Zephyr Yarn or of Crochet and Knitting Cotton. The gloves are worked entirely in single crochet; the cuff is worked back and forth, the hand is worked around and around. The directions are given in three sizes - large, medium and small size. All three sizes are included in the one pattern.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 675 in 1943.   

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS: 1 (1 ounce) skein of grey and about 1/4 ounce of black 3-ply Zephyr Yarn and a No. 7 steel crochet hook or 1 (500 yard) skein of grey and about 100 yards of black Crochet and Knitting Cotton and a No. 5 steel crochet hook.
