Description

Afghan No 122 : This pattern contains directions for crocheting the afghan pictured. This design, estimated early 1950's, was published was Kresge as part of their Green Oak Yarns promotion. This afghan is made up of very easy block granny square motifs in Ombree Knitting Worsted or Germantown Yarns. The 4 inch squares are joined together to form an afghan that will measure 60 x 72 inches.   SIZE—For an afghan approximately 60x72 inches, make 270 blocks, each block being 4 inches square.

Materials:   Crochet hook No. 4;   Blunt needle;   60 oz. Ombree, and 6 oz. Plain Germantown or Knitting Worsted yarn.
