Crochet Hat and Bag, Beginners Pattern

Kentucky Yarns Leaflet:   This pattern gives directions to crochet the hat and bag pictured.   This is a Very Easy pattern accessory set, perfect for beginners practicing their growing skills.  The set is crocheted in a heavy rug yarn in a primary and contrast color.  The hat can be worn with brim up or down or to wear as a cloche, turn inside out.   The bag is clutch style with fold over top and decorative flower ornament. 

This pattern, vintage 1950's, was originally issued as a Free Leaflet 'with purchase of yarn', in shops.  

Materials (for hat)  

• Kentucky Soft Spun Style #113 70 Yard Skeins, 2 Skeins Colonial Blue, 1 Skein White 
• Aluminum crochet hook, size 8 or H
