Toilet Tissue Cover - A Hat in Crochet:  This cute hat is easy to make and will hide that extra roll of bathroom tissue only until your favorite little girl spies it; then, if she cannot wear it herself, she will likely talk you out of it for her big doll. Oh well: Now you have the pattern, you can always make other hats. 

This is a Mail Order Pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Martha Madison 953.  The newspaper description:  "This crocheted hat pictured may be used to cover that extra roll of bathroom tissue. Or, a little girl may want it for her doll".

Material:   To make the hat, use Nylon Straw Yarn in White, Cream, or Yellow color. Use a #1 steel crochet hook. Work rather firmly, sc hat will hold its shape;   For the flowers and leaves, use Bedspread Crochet Cotton or #5 Perle Cotton in shaded Purple. Yellow, or Pink; with plain medium Green for the leaves. Work with a #5 steel hook to make these. Pink or purple pansies may have yellow centers; yellow ones could have green centers;   Some sewing thread; ribbon for trim.
