Crochet Hostess Apron Pattern Design 1019

Hostess Tea Apron in Crochet:   This pattern gives directions to crochet the apron pictured.   This half apron is worked in two colors crochet cotton.  Note:  Based on the written pattern style, I'd suggest it is much older than the 1945 referenced date.  "A pretty apron is easy to crochet. This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  This pattern was published by Needlework Bureau in 1945 is is referenced under both Ellen Bruce and Peggy Roberts. 

Materials:   500 yds Mercerized Knitting & Crochet cotton - ecru; 100 yds red;   Steel crochet hook #4
