Crochet House Chair Doily Design 7196

Design 673 : This pattern contains directions to crochet the set shown. The official description : " Makes home all the sweeter! A chair set that is easy crocheting, stunning looking. In plain crochet with petal stitch for trees. Crochet the center and then add the edging." The chair back measures 13 x 16 inches and the arm rests are 6 x 13 inches.

This is a mail order pattern, purchased through newspapers and magazines. This pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7163.  .  The newspaper description:  "Charming scene - useful chair set! Look far and wide; you won't find one prettier than this. Any chair makes the perfect background for this unique set. Fascinating to crochet".   The pattern was included in the 1962 Needlework Catalog.
