Crochet Laces Insertions Pattern, Mayfair No 233

Crochet Laces and Insertions:   This pattern gives directions to crochet the laces pictured.  There are three narrow motifs, ideal for personal accessories - collars, hankies, etc.  There are three wider choice perfect for towels or heavy linens, with one insertion.  A chart is included.  The actual widths are not stated. 

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through the newspaper.  This pattern was marketed as No. 233 by Mayfair Needle Art Design in 1937.   

MATERIAL REQUIRED: White or pastel shade Mercerized Crochet Cotton. Size 30. For finer and more delicate work use size 50 or 70 Mercerized Crochet Cotton. For size 30 cotton use #9 or #10 English steel crochet hook.
