Crochet Lady of the Lake Bedspread, Leaflet C-661

Crocheted Bedspread : This pattern contains directions to crochet the spread shown. This pattern, from Coats and Clark, vintage 1960s, was presented in Leaflet C-661. This is a block motif crochet spread, with each block measuring 3 inches square. The easy to make blocks are joined together to form a single spread oat 78 x 108 inches or a double size at 96 x 108 inches ... or size that you desire. The pattern was officially name 'Lady of the Lake' - a heritage design in crochet adapted from an antique American Quilt in the New York's Brooklyn Museum.  

Materials:  J. & P. COATS "KNIT-CRO-SHEEN," Art. A. 64: Single Size, 78 x 108 inches: 41 balls of No. 1 White and 56 balls of No. 51 Spice. Double Size, 96 x 108 inches: 50 balls of No. 1 White and 70 balls of No. 51 Spice;  Milwards Steel Crochet Hook No. 6.
