Crochet Large Pineapple Square Design 870

Crocheted Square:  This crocheted pineapple square can either be made of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton or of No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton. When joined together the squares form bedspreads, cloths, scarfs, pillows and other household articles.  The square, depending upon material selection, will measure 12 or 16 inches.  

This is a Mail Order Design pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  This pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 870 in 1955.  It was also marketed under the Alice Brooks brand.
