Crochet Medallion Pattern Illinois Modern

Medallion Crochet Pattern: This pattern gives directions for crocheting the motif shown. This pretty design is medium size at 5 inches squares and features a flower center and is worked in two tones of crochet cotton. Crochet and join the medallions to form spreads, cloths and runners in sizes of your choice. This motif is vintage 1950's from Coats and Clark's.

Materials: COATS & CLARK'S O.N.T. "SPEED-CRO-SHEEN" MERCERIZED COTTON, Art. C.44:

• Single Size Spread – 70 x 110 inches-50 balls of No. 49-A Killarney and 56 balls of No. 10-A Canary Yellow.
• Double Size Spread – 90 x 110 inches-63 balls of No. 49-A Killarney and 70 balls of No. 10-A Canary Yellow.
• Milwards Steel Crochet Hook No. 2/0 (double zero).

GAUGE: Each motif measures 5 inches square and requires 16 yards of Killarney and 18 yards of Canary Yellow.
