Crochet Mesh Runner Pattern, Victorian Ends

4-71 Crochet Runner Pattern:   This pattern gives directions to crochet the runner pictured.  This is an easily crocheted mesh design with rather splendid Victorian ends.  The finished measurements are 12 x 22 inches.   It should be easy to alter the pattern to create mats in sizes of your choice.  Vintage 1945. 

Materials: 

• ROYAL SOCIETY SIX CORD CORDICHET, Small Ball, Size 30: 3 balls of White or Ecru.  
• Steel Crochet Hook No. 10. 

 GAUGE: 7 sps make 2 inches; 6-1/2 rows make 2 inches.
