Vintage 1934

Fashion has decreed that neckwear is in high favor and considers it especially smart if it is crocheted. And no woman needs to be told that a collar can be the making of the plainest dress! These lovely models in crochet can be carried out in a variety of ways. The cape collar is lovely done in Petit Boucle or another fine wool with the lines on the collar brought out in metal thread. Of course, just contrasting wool can be used in place of the metal. The upstanding gadget on the collar is left plain, thus setting it off. The round collar is just the thing for many a dress. Made of graded scallops, it is unusually flattering when done in angora. The jabot is one of those full lacy ones made up to the greatest part of meshes with a simple effective design adding interest to these.
