Crochet Pansy Flower Doily Pattern Design 303

Pansy Doilies:  This pattern contains instructions to crochet the doily pictured.  These crocheted pansy doilies are made in two sizes and can be used singly or they can be combined to form buffet or luncheon sets.   The doilies are 19 or 26 inches in diameter.

This is a Mail Order pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  This pattern, No 303, was marketed under both the Home Crafters and Superior names.

Materials:  No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton & a No 10 Steel Crochet Hook, OR Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton a No 8 Steel Crochet Hook.   Large doily requires 2 (325 yard) balls of No. 30 or 2 (500 yard) skeins of heavy cotton;  Small doily requires 1 ball of No. 30 or 1 skein of heavy cotton.
