Crochet Pattern Fern Doily Large Centerpiece Design 846

Crocheted Doilies : This pattern contains directions for making two round crocheted doilies. They can be made either of No. 50 or No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton or of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton. The doilies can be used as odd pieces or they can be combined to form buffet or luncheon sets. Depending upon materials selected, the large doily will measure wither 18 or 28 inches; the small doily either 12 or 16 inches in diameter.

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS:  No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton and a No. 14 steel crochet hook or No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton and a No. 10 steel crochet hook or Unbleached Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton in (700 yard) skeins and a No. 8 steel crochet hook.   (The large doily requires approximately 300 yards' of No. 50 cotton or 400 yards of No. 30 cotton or 525 yards of heavy cotton. The small doily requires approximately 100 yards of No. 50 cotton or 140 yards of No. 30 cotton or 200 yards of heavy cotton)
