Crochet Peacock Pattern, Chair Set, Laura Wheeler 554

Crocheted Chair Set:  This pattern contains directions for making a peacock chair set; the peacocks are worked in the pineapple design.  The chair back will measure 13 x 17 inches; the arm rests are 7 x 10-1/2 inches each. 

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 554 in 1948.   The pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 971. The pattern was included in the Laura Wheeler 1949 Designs Catalog.
