Crocheted Accessories:  The pattern contains directions for making a round and an oval doily and a matching edging. Each design can be made of No. 50 or No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton or of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton. The choice of the cotton governs the size and texture.

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS:   No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton and a No. 12 steel crochet hook  or No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton and a No. 10 steel crochet hook or unbleached Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton and a No. 8 steel crochet hook.    The round doily requires approximately 75 yards of No. 50 cotton or 84 yards of the No. 30 cotton or 120 yards of the unbleached Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton.  The oval doily requires approximately 72 yards of No 50 cotton or 86 yards of No 30 cotton or 120 yards of the unbleached Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton.
