Crochet Pineapple Doily Pattern No 3012

Crocheted Doilies: These crocheted doilies, worked in pineapple design, can be made either of No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton or of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton. The choice of the cotton governs the size and texture of the doilies. The large doily may be made at 19 or 30 inches and the small doily at 13 or 17 inches.

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspapers. Pattern No 3012 was marketed as The American Weekly 3012 in 1944.  It was also marketed under the both the Laura Wheeler and  Alice Brooks brands.

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS:  No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton in (150 yard) balls and a No. 10 steel crochet hook or Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton in (500 yard) skeins and a No. 8 steel crochet hook.  The large doily requires approximately 750 yards of heavy cotton or 570 yards of fine cotton.  The small doily requires approximately 300 yards of heavy cotton or 225 yards of fine cotton.
